My name is Seth... I'm a Scag Gold Level Certified Technician both for Sales and Service... I do own an SWZ Scag with a Sulkee... However my yard is so small I rarely use it...
I work for a Scag Dealership and have been a certified Gold Level Tech for the last 3 years... Prior to that I worked for myself in my owner operator shop on anything from CUTs, mower, riders, chainsaws, lots of automotive and some medium duty trucks such as Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fusos, and various other brands... The cool thing about Scag vs John Deere is most of the Scag repair information is public and it can be posted with with detailed explanations if there are questions that arise I can assist with... My current projects at work are a Scag Turf Storm that the spreader motor quit working on (Scag has a goofy motor controller that provides power on both sides to the motor for whatever reason) which turned out to be the speed control module... I also am working on a Windstorm unit owned by Camp Murray that has a failed PTO clutch (coil drawing too much amperage due to break down in thd coils from the enamel insulation on the wires breaking down and allowing coil to short)... That said I like to help and don't mind assisting with troubleshooting so send your posts and I'll try to respond as quick as possible with what I can...

Hey @sethpayment79, welcome to the forum! You sure have got a ton of hands-on experience with Scag units. That's awesome and that knowledge on the Turf Storm and Windstorm issues is gold. What’s been the trickiest repair you’ve tackled so far? Glad to have you here and looking forward to read more of your stories!
