Kohler command pro bad

Bought a scag patriot 52in new in April 2022 . It has the Kohler command pro 23.5 hp. Spec number cv732 3035 to be exact. It has only 200hrs on it.
I had been noticing excess oil consumption but no signs of other issues. No smoke, no miss, no leaks.
I changed and topped off the oil and filter 3 weeks ago. It mowed a total of 6 hrs since that time.
It has a broken rod now. 200.4 hrs. Dead
No warranty. What are y'all replacing these with?

That CV732 going south at 200 hours is rough. A broken rod with no smoke or obvious warning signs suggests something was wrong from the factory. Kohler should know about this one given the low hour count and the service history you have documented. Do you have photos of the damage when you pulled the head or pan?
