Hey all, I just picked up a 470 bagger to replace my old 330. I know most of my 330 attachments won't fit, but I'm curious if the power-chute collector I have for the 48 deck might work on the 470's 48 deck. I'm hoping the mounting points are similar so I can avoid buying a whole new collection system.

I mainly want to keep using what I've got without spending extra cash. Anyone who's upgraded from a 300-series to the 400-series bagger have experience with this? I'm trying to get more horsepower for my snowblower without losing the old-school feel of the 330.

It won't be a plug and play I can tell you that for sure. Honestly I don't know if there's any off the shelf option to make it work, so I'm guessing you'll need to consider some custom fabrication and even then I still don't think you'll be able to get it work.

It looks like the power-chute collector probably won't fit directly since the 400-series has a different mounting setup compared to the 300-series. You could potentially get it to work with some custom brackets, but keep in mind that Cub Cadet changed a lot of the attachment points with each generation.

The 470 is a great upgrade over the 330, but most attachments don't carry over. The 48" power-chute collector may not align since mounting points changed between series. Some owners report minor modifications worked, though.

Hey @Mowsvi, as the others mentioned, your 48” power-chute from the 330 probably won’t bolt directly onto the 470. The 400-series changed the mounting points, so a straight swap isn’t really plug-and-play. Some folks have made it work with custom brackets or minor mods, but it’s not guaranteed and might take a bit of fab work. If you want to avoid extra headaches, you might have to look at a 470-specific collector.
