Just a heads up and you may know or not know this but on the SCAG Liberty Z the Hour Meter, and I am sure on all SCAG Zero Turns, will NEVER go off even when you turn the key to the off position. The only way to get this off is you have to unscrew the battery compartment, shift the batter out and then remove the cables from the battery. This meter drains your battery. I called National SCAG Customer Relations Department in Wisconsin and of course spoke to my local Dealers many times, who have no clue, told me it will only use a bit of the battery, well, when you let it sit over the winter, it killed it. The National Customer Releations Department says it is not the meter. LOL They think we are idiots. Do your components on your truck or car turn off when you turn the ignition to the off position? Of course they do. It is a flaw in their design where they do not want to pay for the components to make the hour meter turn off. This is a SCAM to make you buy a battery or have it serviced by your dealer. If you only use your mower maybe ten times a year, the battery should not be drained over a two-year period or less. Good Luck paying to have it recharged or paying for a new battery every year because SCAG does not care.
